DUARTE ROBERTO
1935 -2004. He studied at The National Academy of Fine Arts, and with master Ideal Sánchez. His painting corresponds to neo-figurative expressionism. His main characters are women, music, literature, landscapes, elements from reality which are transformed. 1967 Grand Honor Award and Gold Medal at the National Hall.  1977 He was invited to participate in the Augusto Palanza Award by the National Academy of Fine Arts. 1982 The National Hall presented him with the Grand Award of Honor in the Drawing and Painting category.
