Burton Mildred
BURTON MILDRED
1942-2008. Painter, engraver, sketcher, and musician. She studied at the Ernesto de la Cárcova School of Fine Arts. She included post-figuration with suggestive imagination.
She exhibited her work in more than 450 national, municipal, and provincial halls; in biennials, museums, galleries, etc. of Latin America, Europe, and the U.S.A.; these included the “J. Miró” International Award in Barcelona, the Biennial of Mexico, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Madrid. She was awarded in many occasions.
